Giclée Printing (pronounced Gee’clay) works in a similiar way to the modern inkjet printer, spraying colour over the paper and leaving no visible dot screen patter. However often referred to as ‘knitting machines’ they are much larger in size, usually over a metre wide.

One of our Art Deco Giclee Prints

Giclée printing produces great colour definition and exceptional resolution, resulting in prints often more vivid and rich than the original. Giclée printing was originally applied to fine art prints created on IRIS printers, but has since come to mean any inkjet print. The term is now widely used by artists and galleries to denote high quality printing.
